Ground Investigations with Emus 🦩
Our Environmental and Geotechnical team recently visited a special needs school to carry out soakaway testing as part of a proposed new development.
It was one of those days that remind you why our work can be so rewarding. We were there to help improve facilities for an amazing school community, and we had some rather curious onlookers too. The resident emus were clearly fascinated by the drilling rig and kept a very close eye on the team throughout the day.
Projects like this remind us that our work is about more than soil samples and data. It is about helping spaces evolve for the people and sometimes the animals who use them.
We are looking forward to continuing the work on site as the development progresses.
